Finance Department of R.A.S Al-Khaimah Government was established in 1/5/1966 with an Amiri decree issued by His Highness Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qassimi - Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah - may God preserve him. It was one of the oldest finance departments which have been established in the United Arab Emirates. It was called " Public accounts' department" at that time. The department's name had been adjusted in 9/9/2003 with an Amiri decree No. 20/2003 to be ((Finance Department)). The purpose of establishing this department was to control the revenues and payments of R.A.K Government, which are achieved by the department itself or through the other governmental departments. |
